About our Data center migration's

This message is additional information which follows the migration of infrastructure CTN1 site at Aubervilliers TelecityGroup (France, Europe) to the site of Equinix at Saint-Denis (France, Europe).

The migration took place in several phases, some who worked held simultaneously.

For this migration, 2 new phones numbers were in place, so that we can keep you informed of progress. Different unexpected took place, both administrative and technical making this migration more difficult than expected.

Maintenance operation

We will make maintenance operation this week end for resolve hardware failure on dedicated server. We have receive notification about failure disk reason. This operation will do it this week end.


Details:

. Stop your server by software (CTRL+ALT+SUPPR)
. Change the hard disk rack
. Restart your server.

Status: Sheduled this week end (07/12 to 08/12)

Impact: 500 Dedicated Servers Intel or AMD

Operation 5 minutes for earth

CTN1 supports the initiative of the Alliance for the planet. Switch off its lights for 5 minutes, it is not just saving electricity that day, but it is especially draw attention to the waste of resources and the urgency of taking action.

Tonight at 7:55 p.m., we switch off all our lights on the sites for 5 minutes.

Servers down on H8 and H6

We have detect lot of servers down on H6 and H8. The reason is power cut off is leakage on alimentation. We have find the reason and repair. All servers are restarted.

Upgrade of Portal Center

We will upgrade our portal center. We have detected lot of bug about our trouble ticket systems.

Router Table saturation this friday evening

We had received lot of complaint about failure on the network and we have decide to modify our network for resolve it.

The problem has been when we have receive new announce on our routers backbone. We have satured all backplane of our card.

Each IP carrier announce 225.000 IP routes and our routers has not accepted this.

The router BB1-Core hosted 5 carriers and we have receive alert. We have reconfigured the backbone for resolve this status.

The BTN Access network will move on BB2-Core Monday Morning. We have capacity for run on 4 Carriers.
